Cois Fharraige U13 hurlers played their county semi-final this week in Kenny Park against Mullagh-Kiltormer, winning on a score line of 3-7 to 2-4. Leading narrowly at half time by 1-3 to 1-2, Cois Fharraige forged ahead after the break, with Mullagh-Kiltormer narrowing the gap at the end with a late goal. It was a great win for coaches and kids, who now play the county final against the high scoring Padraig Pearses from Ballymacward in the coming days. Bearna Na Forbacha played their remaining Junior A Championship fixture against Mellows this week, losing 1-8 to 3-10. However thanks to strong results in previous matches they are through anyway to the preliminary quarter final stage, to be played in the coming weeks.
 
Next Thursday, September 1st, Cois Fharraige U15s take to the field for the first time this year, playing Mícheál Breathnach's at Indreabhán, with throw-in at 6pm.
